Say what you will.... but I find it dissapointing that after 60 years of scootering nobody can tell me how to fix my electrics. All this babble-talk about 225cc engines and all those stupid british flags (no offense to my English pals, but it doesn't make sense unless you're English), and not to mention all the people that pull haunted parts off poor innocent scooters then try to charge you a kidney because it is original-vintage.
Okay, I called the motor-sports garage. It is fixxed and ready to be brought back to me. ...$245.00! He said the carb was extremely 'gunked'. ...So, I got a carb rebuild and now it runs!! New gaskets!! Good for another 5000miles!! 18:15:00 11-29-2012
Okay!! I got my scooter back!! 10:38:40 I got it back on by the 1st, and it sounds better than ever.... 'Purple Mountains Majesty'!! Whooorayyy!! -LETS GO HAVE FUN!!
The name of the place that fixxed it this time is: Dan's Motor Sports + South East Lancaster Drive, Salem, Oregon (across the street from Sonic Drive-In)
The mechanics were real nice about it, I would/will use them again.
Thee Purple - P!: (it looks a mega-deal different after a year), but I still need to put the chrome body parts to it.

Okay, how's this for cool?: Jerry wants a Harley-Davidson. I know, ...my only hang-up is co$t,.... ...I know, it is not my problem,... "It is not my problem, it is not my problem....", ... I'll just keep telling myself that, and hope my mother (God bless her), never ever, even ever, finds out I let 'little Jerry' ride such a 'stupid thing'! -- As if no biker has ever heard that before!!
